Time to get all of the Poker Heat Rings

One of my favorite things about Poker Heat is that you can collect rings. In this Poker Heat rings guide, I go over what you need to do to collect the rings and how to get them faster.

My Poker Heat Review

If you want to learn more about Poker Heat, read my review. Poker Heat is one of my favorite poker games.

What Are the Rings in Poker Heat?

They are rings that are shown on your avatar or personal picture when playing poker. Currently, there are five rings to collect.

  1. Heat Ring
  2. Showtime Ring
  3. Fury Ring
  4. Red Burst Ring
  5. Phoenix Ring

Why Collect Rings in Poker Heat?

The Rings Look Nice

The rings look neat, and I appreciate the artwork. If they where real rings I would love to show them off somewhere.

Each ring also has a unique description. They are fun to read. I think these are a bit silly because of how serious they are.

But then again I am a person who writes guides on how to win chips in a poker video game. I might look silly myself form how serious I am!

The Rings Are Sign of Skill

The rings also are a sign of skill. You need to play consistently to get enough crowns to get each ring. I have never seen anybody with the last two rings before.

If I did see somebody with a Red Burst or a Phoenix ring, I would be quite impressed. I would know they are a more serious poker player.

You Get Free Chips

Maybe all of that means nothing to you? Well even then, collecting the rings is still worth it for the free chip bonus. You get millions of chips each time you collect a ring.

How Do You Get Rings in Poker Heat?

You Need Crown Points

So now that we know what the rings are and some reasons to like them how do we get them! You need to collect crowns to get each ring. Each ring has a number of crowns you need to collect.

I don’t know how many crowns are needed for the Red Burst or Phoenix Rings. If you know this information, please leave a comment. I asked Playtikia on Twitter, and they didn’t answer back.

Ring Crown Numbers

  1. Heat Ring 500 crowns
  2. Showtime Ring 750 crowns
  3. Fury Ring 1000 crowns
  4. Red Burst Ring ?
  5. Phoenix Ring ??

How to Get Crowns?

OK so now we know we need crowns. How do you get crowns? There are two ways that I know of to get crowns. You need to play the game and fill a bar and compete in leagues.

Getting Crowns from Filling the Crown Bar

Fill the Crown Bar

When you play poker, there is a bar at the top of the screen. This is the crown bar. Every time you win a hand, it fills up a little. The bigger hands, you win the faster this bar fills up.

When you fill up the bar, a neat animation plays, and you earn some crowns! Normally you get two crowns for filling the bar once. But I have seen this give three crowns during some events.

About the First Crown Bar

The first bar is special in that you can fill it up at your own pace. After filing up the bar, once future bars have a timer on them. If you don’t get the crowns you need before this timer ends, you reset back to the first bar.

The Second and Future Crown Bars

Each future bar gives more crowns and requires you to fill it faster than the last. This makes getting a lot of crowns in a short period of time hard.

Earn Crowns by Placing in Leagues

Leagues Are Important in Poker Heat

Leagues are the heart of Poker Heat. Playing in leagues determines many bonuses you get in Poker Heat. So even if you are not too interested in them, they are important.

One of the bonuses of playing in leagues is getting crown points.

Earn More Crowns by Playing Better in Leagues

You get more crowns for being in higher leagues and for finishing higher in each league. You would get more crown points for being in Legend.

But you also would get more crown points for being in World Class and finishing in fourth place instead of #30.

League Rewards Are Top Heavy

From my observations, the league rewards are very top heavy. People at the bottom get tiny rewards, and most of the reward pool goes to the people in the top ten positions.

This means if you want a lot of crowns, you need to finish high in leagues and move in leagues often.

So How Do I Use This Information to Get a Lot of Crowns?

Fill the First Crown Bar a Lot of Times

Fill that first crown bar as often as you can! If you always fill the first crown bar every time it resets you will get crowns often.

If you really want to take it to the next level, get a timer app and time each bar. So you know when to keep playing.

Do Well in Leagues

Do well in leagues. Finishing in the top three positions in leagues gives a lot of crowns. I have seen some league spots give over 20 crowns for finishing in first!

Most of the spots in leagues give around three to five crowns. So even if you can’t do well in leagues, playing a little every league, will get you some crowns.

Get the Monday Freebies

Lastly, every Monday is a Freebies event. You can choose to get more league points each hand you win or to fill the crown bar faster! You can also pick Cashback Craze, but that doesn’t affect the number of crowns you receive.

I tend to pick the league booster myself. I feel in the short time span this effect is active the league booster helps the most.

The bonus you pick is only active for 30 minutes after picking it! So try to avoid choosing your bonus until you are ready to play that long.

Also, keep in mind there is a table limit for these bonuses. So if the stakes you need to play are too high for you, then you won’t get the bonus.

  3. Play in leagues

My Own Poker Heat Ring Progress

You might be curious on how many rings I have. Right now, I am working on getting the Fury Ring. I need 900 crowns to get it. I recently got the Showtime ring, and I was very excited!

I am very conservative when playing Poker Heat, and I only play at stakes I have at least 10 table buy ins. Because of this, I don’t get rings very fast, and I don’t finish very high in leagues.

I often only have a chance to fill the crown bar once or twice. Now that I am playing Fortune Field, I am starting to fill the bar faster and more often though.

Soon I will start to play at Glory Garden. When this happens, I will hopefully fill my crown bars faster and get more crowns for leagues.

I have made it a personal goal of mine to get all the rings no matter how long it takes!!
